WHAT IS BIOTHANE?
BioThane® is the brand name of the highest quality polyester webbing with a PVC coating that is currently available on the market. It's durable, waterproof, easy to clean and remains always odour-free. We only use the original BioThane® brand material for this product, because it is of higher quality, softer and more durable than other cheaper competing waterproof materials on the market. Please note that the actual colours may vary from the images in the colour chart, if you would like to see some addition images please just drop us a message.

HARDWARE:
Our Hybrid leads come with Trigger Clasps as standard. Most of our hardware is colour coated zinc, which although durable, is not fully rust or chip resistant. 
If your dog often plays in or around sea water, or for more heavy duty use, please ensure you choose Stainless Steel or Gold Brass for your hardware, to avoid corrosion and for a rust and chip proof product.
Trigger Clasps: 76-80mm, Break Load 200kg, Clasp Weight: 30-40g (solid metals 50g)
Scissor Clasps: 65mm long, Break Load around 120kg, Clasp Weight: 30g (solid metals 40g) - not recommend for dogs that pull.
Please note, (particularly for toy breeds) that Stainless Steel and Gold Brass, are solid metals, and therefore the clasps will be chunkier and heavier.
